Why OUTSOURCE CKC’S SERVICES?

With a rapidly changing corporate scenario in India where competition is driving organizations to improve efficiencies, the Government is spearheading a major standardization and modernization endeavour to improve transparency in Corporate Governance and Taxation Management. The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has reoriented its policies and practices to provide a framework whereby organizations can manage their costs and resources more effectively while enabling better transparency thru standardized reporting for use by all the stakeholders. Instead of having manual and individual based historical reporting with no or little relevance to the current scenario, the Ministry aims to introduce world class systems where standards are defined to maintain uniformity in the cost related information so that both micro and macro level management is possible by the organizations themselves, besides the Industry and the Government.

The MCA, working closely with The Institute of Cost Accountants of India, has made significant inroads in designing and implementing policy changes in recent years, which was evident from the refreshed Companies Act 2013 which has sought to modernize the methods of capturing information (implementation of XBRL), and brought almost all major industry and manufacturing company into the ambit of Cost Accounting Record Rules.

Furthermore, a whole lot of industries have been brought within the ambit of cost audit. With the implementation of various Cost Audit Rules in 2014, the days of company specific orders for cost audit is now a thing of the past and currently identification of companies required to undertake cost Audit and Cost Records are product based governed by CET (Central Excise tariff).

With the above regulations, which are mandatory in nature, already in place along with the implementation of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Generally Accepted Cost Accounting Principles (GACAP), a huge responsibility has been entrusted on the profession of Cost and Management Accountancy to deliver in terms of quality and integrity of cost reporting.

CKC LLP is managed by seasoned professionals who were holding top management positions of CEO’s/ Directors in diverse manufacturing, service & trading organisations. CKC management has translated this experience in its practice of cost management, tax management & compliance management consulting.
